We match small cohorts of trainees with partner employers for a four week placement. Employers who host get first look at hiring the trainee at the end.
Why hire this way
Every trainee completes twelve weeks of AI or cybersecurity training with real project work before they meet you.
The four week placement is fully funded. You get to see the person at work before making any hiring commitment.
Our team stays close throughout the placement — pastoral support, coaching, and check-ins are on us.
How it works
- 01Tell us your need
A short intro call to understand the role, team and start window.
- 02We match a shortlist
You meet 1–3 trainees whose skills and interests fit the brief.
- 03Four week paid placement
They join your team with weekly check-ins from us.
- 04Hire (or not) at the end
First look at hiring them permanently. No obligation either way.
Questions employers ask
The placement itself is funded — you don't pay salary during the four weeks. If you choose to hire the trainee afterwards, that's a normal employment offer on your terms.
Plan on a light onboarding, a nominated day-to-day contact, and a weekly 30-minute check-in. Most host teams find it lower-lift than a typical new hire.
We keep a named safeguarding lead across the pilot and brief every host team before placement starts. Trainees have direct access to our support team throughout.
We'd rather know early. Talk to us at the first weekly check-in — we can adjust the brief, pair with a different trainee, or close the placement with no hard feelings.
No. The placement is designed so both sides can decide. If you don't hire, the trainee moves on with real experience under their belt.
Right now: applied AI (tooling, automation, data workflows) and cybersecurity (SOC, GRC, secure development). Talk to us about adjacent roles — we're flexible.
